An actual open end wrench rather than a line wrench will make maneuvering into the confined space much easier.

Great video how-to.

I watched a few videos and was more confused after each one. After watching yours I went to my mower and adjusted one screw and I am back to normal now. You made it simple and easy to follow. Thanks for you help!

Great Informative Video. Mine does the exact same thing in reverse. I've just learned to compensate. Also, if the ground isn't perfectly level you will achieve different results.

Hey Stan, Thanks for the comment. Yes, the forward drive is definitely affected. I noticed it the first time when I tightened it way too much. I am more concerned about reverse because one of my wheels (I guess the left) felt way under-powered when I used it for maneuvering. When I finished adjusting for reverse, forward felt fine - no noticeable pull to one side.

Why is the LHS adjusted (tightened), and not the RHS adjusted (loosened) initially?

so...are you saying there is no forward adjust....only one for both forward AND reverse (same adjustment)? Mine pulls when I go forward. Not sure if this is the adjustment I need or not

My Timecutter doesn't make the transition from forward to backward very well on the left handle. The transition is kind of jerky which chews up my grass when I go around objects going left. The right wheel is perfectly fine. Any suggestions?

Hello, just wondering if your adjustments affected the drive when going forward. Obviously, if either the forward or reverse has to be off, it would be better for it to be the reverse adjustment.
Just curious, I have no experience with Toro.

Great video, thank you. I have three of them and tired of paying $60 to adjust a nut.

I'm looking to see how to get my arms positioned evenly. The mower doesn't pull to either side but the arms are not lined up when brought together. If that makes any sense? lol - Still haven't found a video on that? Guess I'll just have to pull off the covers and see what jumps out at me as far as adjustment screws go? Anyone had that problem? thx!

Good video, Joe. I have a drive lever that only works in reverse, no forward at all. Any  ideas?

Joe, would I adjust a slight pull going forward on the same screws or are there a different set of screws I would adjust?

I can get mine to go back straight but if I adjust it to make it go in reverse straight when I go forward I pull to the left hard so I adjusted mine to go forward straight an not the opposite seeing I don’t cut in reverse so much. Thanks for the video tho It was easier to locate adjustments

Thanks for watching. Sounds like your transmission may have an internal problem. I think I would take it to the lawn mower doctor if it was me. Good luck with it.
