Toro TimeCutter MX5025 2018 model: EXCELLENT VIDEO to FIX tracking discrepancy ! Once up on jack stands with engine on and handles in go position the left back wheel was rotating in reverse and the right back wheel was going in forward. Now with both nuts on the springs adjusted per your instructions, we are STRAIGHT ON now when mowing 😄!! MANY THanks !!!

That kid has more common sense than most adults. I could see the competence in her understanding of your instructions

Great job on raising her

Great description! This helped a ton, jacking it up and pinning the sensor was the major helping point.

Thanks for the great video. My Toro Timecutter has never tracked straight from the day I purchased it. I called Toro customer care twice and both times I got someone who had no idea what they were talking about. They put me on hold while they went and read some books and then sent me an email on how to make the handles align. Thanks to guys like you that are willing to share their knowledge.

I took delivery of a 2021 Toro TimeCutter MyRide yesterday and it was not tracking correctly. This video is still valid and I resolved the issue in 20 minutes. Great job !!!!

Thanks! I have this problem too!  Your daughter is a great little assistant.  It would be nice if Toro would put stuff like this in the owner's manual.

Perfect, straight to the point, well done, thank you I really needed to watch that.

Great video. Just did mine. There is a lot of play in the wheels not turning zone. What I ended up doing was setting both wheels half a turn from turning in neutral, then drove it. Still pulled to the left. Then unadjusted the right wheel since it was the one giving to much power. You can adjust it while the mower is on the ground. Turning the adjustment nut on the right wheel clockwise will make the mower pull right. Few adjustments later she is straight as an arrow!

Dude you are a real "G"! Working on a mower with snow on the ground. I said this guy is really gettin' it. Nice to have such good help also!

This was helpful, thank you! I think a lot of us have neutral already calibrated however, and are still seeing bias. While this is certainly a noble start, if you are still having trouble grab a $30 tachometer and measure and adjust each wheel. After this video, I was still about 10 RPM off. After 20m calibration using tactics in video, but examining RPMs you will find perfection. Full throttle in fast mode I have both wheels spinning within 120 RPM. Hope this helps!

I used your technique on my Toro SS 3200 Time Cutter. It worked perfectly. I would note that after raising the rear wheels, ensure that the two levers in the rear are set to the "mow" mode. Thanks so much for sharing this video.

Awesome going to get on it. Also, another question, when parked. Tends to roll backwards. How to adjust the brake?

Thanks for the video. I tried this tonight and for the most part, it fixed my problem. My left wheel wasn’t turning but once I pulled the pin that enables manually pushing the mower, that did the trick and I was able to use your video to correct the steering.

Thank you for this video. I have a Toro MX4250 and I was veering to the left. My neutral was OK. By making small 1/8 turns to slow down the right rear wheel, I now can mow perfectly around landscaping beds. I also notice that my hill climbing power (especially in reverse) has greatly improved! Again, many thanks...

Hi Erik, where did you get the jack / jack stand that you are using on the front of the mower, looks like a very handy and great safety tool.

Dude!! Really??!! Man I can't wait to try this out. Edit: i just saw another video about this same issue and they actually started the lawnmower. I'll still give you credit because without seeing this video of have never seen the other video. They did the same exact thing you did but they started the mower which helped out alot. THANKS!!!

Sounds like a quick and easy way to troubleshoot. By the way, your helper is adorable.

Just wanted to give you another shout-out. Like the other folks, the tracking was off on my brand new 2015 Toro Timecutter SS4225. I think if I had purchased it from a Toro dealer instead of a home improvement center, it would have been right. Anyway, I couldn't find anything about it in the manual either. Thank goodness for you and YouTube!

I'm gonna give this a try on my SS4260. I have noticed too that if your tire pressures aren't even it will also affect how it tracks. So, make sure your tire pressures are equal as well.
