Evaluating Cell Death in Digitally Stained Lung Cancer Cells Exposed to Compound A
Показать описание
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month!
With more than 2.2 million new lung cancer cases diagnosed each year worldwide, lung cancer is the second most common cancer type following breast cancer.
This month is dedicated to raising awareness about lung cancer’s causes, risk factors, symptoms, and the importance of early detection and prevention.
At Nanolive, our label-free imaging technology contributes into advancing drug discovery and development for lung cancer. In this example video, you can see the efficacy of a promising anti-cancer compound in two different lung cancer cell lines: SW 1573 and A549 cells. Remarkably, most of the SW 1573 cells undergo cell death within 4h of treatment, as shown in real-time monitoring plots. Cells are digitally stained to visualize their health state with colors ranging from green to orange.
Combining Nanolive’s live cell imaging technology with our AI-powered Live Cytotoxicity Assay, we enable monitoring of living, apoptotic and necrotic cells in an automated way, label-free.
