One reason people should know Jesus is God because He said He is a jealous God and will not give His glory to another. He came Himself to save us from His wrath. There is no greater love and whenever I think of it, it makes me want to praise His Holy name. Thank you Heavenly Father!!

This is so easily refutable:
In Revelation 21:7 Jesus says
"The one who overcomes will inherit all things *, and I will be his GOD, * and he will be My son", The one speaking to John here is Jesus Christ Himself and the immediate context proves it, it says in Revelation 21:6 *"It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life"*
The person speaking to John here says that He is *"the Alpha and the Omega", the beginning and the end"* and the same exact words are repeated in Revelation 22:13 where he says *I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the a first and the last."* and the immediate context proves that it is Jesus Christ because verse 12 says: *“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done"* this is a clear reference to the return of Jesus Christ, it is Jesus who is coming to reward each person on the Judgement day, and if this wasn't enough just a few verses below it is proven beyond the shadow of any doubt that Jesus Christ is the speaker here, in verse 16 of the same chapter he says
*“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches."* it is also worth noting that Jesus says that he is *"The First and the Last"* and only God Almighty says those words in Isaiah 44:6-8: *“I am the first and I am the last..."* also in Revelation 1:8: it says *"I am the Alpha and the Omega, "* says the Lord God, *"who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."* There is no doubt from this verse that the one speaking here is the Lord God Almighty and again the immediate context proves that it is none other than Jesus Christ Himself, because he's the one who is to *come* According to Revelation 1:7: "Look, he is *COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, "* and "every eye will see him, *EVEN THOSE WHO PIERCED HIM";* and all peoples on earth "will mourn because of him." So shall it be! Amen." Jesus spoke these exact words about himself in Matthew 24:30:

..."and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then *SHALL ALL THE TRIBES OF THE EARTH MOURN, * and they shall see the *Son of Man COMING IN THE CLOUDS* of heaven with power and with great glory".
and in verse 7, He also says those words in Mark 14:62:
"I am, " said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and *COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN."* Also in Matthew 26:64:
Jesus saith unto him, "Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and *COMING IN THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN".* this proves that it is Jesus speaking in Revelation 1:7
it also says in Revelation 1:8 that this person was *"Pierced"* by people, a clear reference to Jesus's crucifixion, He also says in Revelation 21:6
*"To the thirsty I will give Water without cost from the spring of the Water of life"*
Only Jesus claims to give the Water of Eternal life to the thirsty according to John 4:14:
*..."But whoever drinks of The Water that I will give him shall never thirst; but The Water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”*
Once again proving beyond the shadow of any doubt, that Jesus Christ is the speaker in Revelation 21:6, Another proof is Jesus's use of the key Formulaic phrase *"TO THE ONE WHO OVERCOMES"* or *"Auto Ho Nikon"* (αὐτῷ Ὁ νικῶν) in Greek, repeatedly throughout Revelation 3, for example in Revelation 3:5, Jesus says: *"THE ONE WHO OVERCOMES* will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels".

And in Revelation 3:12 *"THE ONE WHO OVERCOMES* I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never again leave it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name" as well as in Revelation 3:21 
*"TO THE ONE WHO OVERCOMES, * I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne". it is a consistent pattern  Throughout Revelation 3, and the same Greek words are used in all those verses, including Revelation 21:7, So it stands to reason that the one speaking in Revelation 21:7 is also has Jesus christ since he's the one who uses that phrase, therefore, Jesus did claim to be "GOD" in Revelation 21:7 and "The Almighty" in Revelation 1:8.

A couple of Jehovah witnesses came reasoning with me last week they tried to convince me that Jesus is not God by giving me their manipulate scriptures.. but when I ask them about the "I am" they give some lengthy explanations not really answering my question... plus I was wondering if Jesus is not God why in revelations he said "I am the alpha and Omega, first and the last?".. really these people try to confuse you with their doctrine
