I like to snorkel in a river near a bridge where people do this. I kept finding locks and lock shanks at the bottom of the river. At first it didn't make sense until I stopped for lunch and saw the fence. So, that means one of the two of them went back to cut the lock off after they broke up... 😂 Baaaaha. Weird.

Not a good idea. The bridges aren’t rated for the extra weight those locks create over time
One lock. No biggie.
Ten locks. Who cares.
