Paris removes “love locks” over weight fears

It's the end of an era for a historic bridge in Paris as the government begins to remove the symbolic padlocks. Some call them an eyesore and a safety hazard. Mark Philips shows us how the relationship with the "love locks" turned sour.

They should melt them all and make them into like a big tower or Bridge where other people can clip locks onto it and then when that gets too much the Melt the locks that were clipped onto it and build more on to that thing they makes the last ones so then they will always be remembered there or maybe they could have something where they can carve it into

Melt down all the locks and then make new railings out of the melted locks. Saves money and still preserve the meaning behind the locks

I have suggestion for Paris govenment what to do with locks, bee good idea to melt them and from steel make some statue dedicated to Love and display it in some park in Paris :)

Thank god. Stop destroying the bridge and stop polluting the water by throwing the damn keys in the river. Melt the locks down for scrap metal or make artwork out if them and place them where they wont destroy the infrastructure and so people can still hang the locks.
