US navy should have atleast 100 units of those destroyer and also 100 units of those future frigates they are building and should maintain atleast 12-15 units of their R. Ford class aircraft carrier to counter the Chinese fast growing naval fleet and also I would like to add the US navy should also start to build corvettes to serve as and do a mission for both littoral combat ship and patrol vessel for them to defend the waters inside their territories (inshore and offshore)

US Warships and.other weapons and war machines are.always over rated understandably because it is a business for the US MIC. Produced it as cheap as possible and market it as the best in the world. A good example is the F 35. Producing anything cheap means you get a cheap and not so good product.
