That is odd, the Senjong is in essence an improved Arleigh Burke and is ranked behind it.

A 30 years old destroyer is number one, sure she may be upgraded but she is slowly getting old. I cannot see her been the number 1 anymore. No matter how good she is, she is old and Flight III ships are just improvements if all ships of the Burke class got those upgrades they may remain at top for few more years but simply she is old.

As others are commenting many new `destroyers` are under construction/undersea trails/or undergoing major refits. This may be a good snapshot of what is currently fully operational in service though untested or getting old. Like `Type 45 `as mentioned or Arleigh Burke. Still nice to watch thankyou "The Buzz"👍

I'm Japanese and my English is not good enough to understand most of what you are talking about, but at least I can see that the CG of the Kongo class is now the Atago class and that the Maya class is not featured.

If China says Type 055 is destroyer than it is, it doesn't matter what nato has to say. Only thing left for them is to give nick names to everyone's jets etc

Kolkata class ships are impressive and great with bramose as offensive and Barak 8 as a defence
But Barak 8 is a missile base defence it can be out numberd and if Barak 8 fails to hit the incoming missile then the ship is screwed
Russian AK's really useless against incoming hostile cutting edge missile

Bruh that's a Vishakhapattam class destroyer or Project 15 its is a Stealth guided missile destroyer an improved version of the Kolkata class destroyers
