Fascinating. I talked to a pricing consultant two weeks ago who made exactly the opposite argument: monthly billing gives customers a reminder to cancel. Plus, when customers pay yearly, it gives the business more early cash to work with.

3:00 - sorry, but “10% off a $50 sweater” will always sound better than “5% off.” Why? Because it’s double the discount! 😂 Check your numbers there.

And if you somehow meant to say “Ten DOLLARS off a $50 sweater, ” well then that’s a 20% discount, or four (4x) times a 5% discount. Of course that’s going to sound better too.
