Your new iPhone needs a Peak Design case, and here's why.

So...Apple just announced a new iPhone. It's the 2nd generation of iPhone to feature MagSafe connection technology. At Peak Design, we've been working on an ecosystem of cases and accessories that use a similar connection system—we call it SlimLink—to allow your phone to attach to all sorts of stuff. As you might expect, we get tons of questions like:

Why get Peak Design cases/mounts when MagSafe stuff already exists?
Are Peak Design cases MagSafe-compatible?

It's complicated. So we made this video to explain the similarities and differences between our two mounting systems. In short, OF COURSE Peak Design products are MagSafe compatible (would've been pretty lame if we didn't do that). But Peak Design Mobile products are STRONGER and do WAY MORE than MagSafe products. So much so that we can confidently say that Peak Design Mobile products are the most capable phone cases and accessories on the planet.

On the Everyday Case with Loop, does the loop ever interfere with connecting to MagSafe devices?

There was no mention of DROP or IMPACT durability. I drop my phone often, so use the Otterbox series for protection. However, I've had to create my own mounting system for my bikes and skateboards. If this has Otterbox type of protection, I'm in.

I have a case for my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I love the texture on the back and the extra feeling of security. It is surprisingly thin for what it does, but it does add noticeable weight. I've gotten used to it though. Pairs nicely with the PD car mount. Unfortunately PD blew the way the mount attaches to the car. 2.0 guys... All-in-all, best case I've ever had for an iPhone.
