I just suddenly lost my husband suddenly to cancer only 3 weeks ago. He went to the emergency room in agonizing pain, was diagnosed on a Sunday and was gone within two weeks. I'm now waiting for life insurance and I'm planning on buying a piece of property and a home for cash. I have no income, and cannot work due to disability. I also do not collect disability. My future is looking a little scary right now. I'm still trying to breathe.

I would pay the house stick to a budget to stay focused on not blowing extra money and wait the year before I take any other decision with this money.

My husband and I have 4 Children, I stay home and we are adding additional life insurance for him and life insurance for me. We realized that his current 750k life insurance isn't enough for 4 kids and our future.
