If I could like this twice I would. Very refreshing to see people in power actually taking this seriously for a change. With the previous administration at the helm it seemed like a wise investment might be a doomsday bunker but now I am investing in 30 solar panels for my house. I loved how they mentioned carbon capture, and I personally would throw in nuclear as I think both of those will play a part if implemented correctly.

Yes, ecological modernization might lessen the problem, but the problem is embedded in capitalism, without which we can not produce new (eco) technologies. A lot more needs to change. We can not produce ecology; we need to preserve it. Degrowth is unimaginable but also inevitable.

Mr Kra is optimistic about us solving the climate change by mostly private investment. We are not even close to solve the problem. The emissions are still rising every year which supposed to be lowered around %7 every year. We need a system change not better technologies. We already know how to solve the problem. Governments and big corporates are not willing to act. We need to push policy makers into action.

Great presentation. Many good points and ideas. Just a note, wood, trees, plants are not permanent carbon sinks. Carbon cycle. Hydrogen? So misunderstood by the general public.
