I remember my first run, this was one of the last few bosses I had left as I forgot about him. Man he took FOREVER! This thing and his little rat pals just kept powning me.

Btw, many spells with lingering aoe attacks like scraps of life and many others that acts as "traps", were so useful and interesting. In DS3 I can only think of seething chaos and chaos fireball, maybe.
