UK threatens to walk away from Brexit talks & 'could break Withdrawal Agreement'

Boris Johnson has threatened that he is willing to walk out of the Brexit negotiations as news comes that the UK government is preparing legislation which could break parts of the Withdrawal Agreement.

Since the UK left the EU in January, trade talks have been ongoing. Progress in the negotiations has been slow, with the two sides stuck over the contentious issues of fishing rights and state aid rules, meaning whether the UK government can subsidise failing businesses. Boris Johnson’s tough words are aimed at making the EU aware the UK is willing to walk away with No Deal if the trade agreement is not satisfactory for British interests. The UK is due to leave the transition period at the end of this year, with or without a trade deal.

If you voted for Brexit and then for Boris as PM, you are doubly culpable for this mess.

Who would of thought that an agreement to buy each others products and produce, without red tape, could be so difficult. In regard to fishing: As an analogy, what if we were to say to continental farmers that we want the right to pick their produce and not pay for them?

nothing says "International trade deals" like breaking internationally binding legal agreements if it turns out that you don't like it.
UK: come do a trade deal with is, don't worry, if we don't like the outcome we'll just break it
rest of the world: we'll pass on the trade deal thanks.

The U.K. cannot dishonour the Withdrawal Agreement. Trust and honour is the only thing that has kept the U.K. so powerful as an ally since WWII.
It’s why countries prefer to make deals with the U.K. rather than France and Germany, and in some cases, the US.
If the U.K. loses this trust, then there’s little reason to pick the U.K. over those countries.

The U.K. isn’t stuck on fishing, the EU is throwing a tantrum as they think they are entitled to BRITISH WATERS

The withdrawal agreement is null and void due to breaches by the EU.

The EU want exclusive access to our waters for fishing. Breaking off would protect our fishing industry.
