Good advises. But as a 60 yo I want to add: have something in your life that you do just for fun, something you just play around with, something you _don't_ strive to be good at but do just for the joy of it. And if one day you don't enjoy it anymore, leave it behind without regret, be happy for the things you learned, and find something new to be your "play ground".

Wise old men for young guys in their 30"s! I'm 68 and these are helpful reminders even at my age.

I'm a 71 yo fan. Can confirm these are great life lessons. Makes me think of those times I wasted on unimportant things and not doing what was necessary to create the good. We live and learn. And you guys are so damn funny. You have not squandered your talent. 😊 wishing you many good years ahead.

Biggest lesson: you can practice 40 hours a day but there will always be a 4 year old Asian kid who’s better than you…

My Father at 90 would tell us you'll live longer if you learn something new every day. One of those new things was when he was 96, we both built a Bowed Zither together which neither of us had ever done before. He died on his feet laughing and joking with family when he was almost 100 years old after enjoying a full day tending his garden and fruit trees.

If you don't change then you stop improving.

Best!

I am sprinting tovards 30 so I added my "I Wish I Knew Before 30"
1. Do not gossip. Tell good or neutral things about person or, if there is a problem, talk with that person.
2. Do not think "What others think of me" especially those who are not the closest to you. Usually "others" don't think about you at all. So, be proud at skills which you have, do stuff and hobbies which you like, wear clothes which are comfoetable for you and don't be apologetic about that.

Guys, yr early thirties can be the best time of your life. Yr smarter and more seasoned than your twenties, but you still have your whole life ahead of you. Take it from me. It can be worth cherishing.

I’m slightly over 30 too and have same thoughts as you guys, I think it’s really beautiful how time changes us and makes us wiser and more accepting of ourselves. It’s so nice to see sincere YouTubers, I feel like it’s a rare thing in social media today 🙏

The first story they told is so funny, cuz I did the same thing when twoset came to Boston for the gong cha promo 😆 I had my bubble tea, then I saw twoset walk by, and I was like, "oh my gosh, that's Brett and Eddy, right there, two feet from me" so I just stopped everything and booked it down the hallway to see them and ask for a picture 😆 I'm so glad I did because Brett was sooo nice! 😭 I love u guys, thanks for all that u do!

It took me 40 years to realize a certain person was a bad friend and to finally break free of her. She lied to me for years but when she stabbed me in the back, in public, I reached my breaking point. That was 13 years ago and I’ve not spoken to her since. She never apologized. I haven’t missed her for one second. Surround yourself with true friends.

These kind of videos are why I love TwoSet violin sooo much. Not only are they funny, not only are they excellent violinists but they're also serious, educational and down to earth. They are so honest and they really do say things as they are. I just feel like they are so real when they turn the camera on. While watching this video I really felt as if I was being teached personally. This is literally a conversation I'd have with my parents. They really seem to care about their viewers. This is the great use of the internet for me, such good quality content. They are truly inspirational, not only as artists, but also as people. That's just amazing in today's society.
