I worked with Percheron horses in the Circus. An Indian Elephant's eyes are 6 and a half feet off the ground. I know because I was that tall and could see eye to eye with them. Nevertheless a Percheron horse eye level was taller than both the Elephant's eye level and mine. About 4 inches taller. A normal horse my eyes were about about 4 inches higher. It was amazing how big Percherons were compared to an elephant. Of course we had 2 Elephants that were taller and saw eye to eye with the horses. All our Elephants were female so a bull would be enormous.

I’ve been a nature lover most of my life, however, not so much when I was in grade 3. The principal at my elementary school was a well known cinematographer and every year we were marched into the gymnasium where we had to watch his latest films.
When I was in my twenties I noticed TV stations we airing a few of his documentaries. Ever since my childhood I haven’t been able to get enough of nature documentaries.
Thank you, Dr. Karvenon for introducing me to the beauty and wonders of life within the nature found all about us.
As a result of the many documentaries I’ve seen, I thought myself knowledgeable on much of the wild life in this video but darn it all, if the info on a few of them didn’t shut me up.
Might I suggest you enjoy the silence, while it lasts, I know my friends and family sure as heck are. LOL

As much as I enjoy anything about animals the most "jaw dropping" thing was the narrators overuse of the term "jaw dropping". Probably would help if he learned a little about what he was talking about also, then he'd have known that the giant horse Sampson probably weighed 2000 lbs more than the 360 lbs he quoted. Oh well, still some impressive critters out there.😎👍

A woman I know lives in Bolivia. She had to hunt piranhas one time while watching some children for a few weeks while their parents traveled to get supplies. She said that the boys had seen a humongous snake. When their father came home, they showed him the river bank where they had seen it. The mud and sand had a huge 6ft wide trench in a slithering pattern pressed into it. There was no way the two little boys could have made the trench, and it had not been there before.

We had a Watusi bull. My husband tipped his horns about 2 inches. He sharpened his horns again. Only bull we have owned that did that.
