10 Biggest Sea Creatures Ever Found On The Beach!

From a mysterious jelly-like creature washed up on the shore to the footprints of a humongous titan crawling from the depths of the sea – here are ten of the biggest sea creatures ever found on the beach!

10: Giant Squid
It doesn't get much bigger than a giant squid. These monsters from the extreme depths of our oceans are very elusive, with only a few of them ever being spotted alive – or even dead for that matter.

9: Giant Jelly Blob
This giant jelly monster thing looks like a horrible creature from some kind of science fiction movie. It is absolutely enormous and unique! And just like the giant squid, this freaky red jelly was found in New Zealand. It was first stumbled upon by a family minding their own business, walking down the beach.

8: Giant Sunfish
All the way across the Pacific from New Zealand is California, where one of the largest, rarest, and ugliest fish ever washed up on a beach in Santa Barbara back in 2019. It’s one thing to find a normal fish somehow beached on land, but the people who stumbled upon a giant, 7-foot (2m) sunfish must have been particularly alarmed.

7: Massive Sea Serpent
You might have seen a giant oarfish before. This is one of the biggest and strangest fish living in the ocean today. It’s also the longest fish in the world. The giant oarfish is the closest thing on earth to an actual sea serpent.

6: Indonesian Sea Beast
One of the largest and most disgusting monsters of all time was spotted on a beach washed up in Indonesia. This happened on the shore of the Maluku islands, and at the time of discovery the monster was in such a late stage of decomposition that nobody had any idea what it was.

5: Hairy Creature in the Philippines
The carcass of a large and unusually hairy sea creature washed up on a beach in the Philippines just recently. This is one of these stranger things to have ever washed up on a beach, considering with the white hair all over it, the thing looked like an oversized Shih tzu.

4: Fanged Beast
The fanged beast that washed up on the beach after Hurricane Harvey in Texas might not be the biggest in the world, but it is certainly one of the most terrifying. It looked like a dolphin with no eyes and the teeth of a demon.

3: Trash Whale
This next story is going to get a little graphic. Everyone knows that the biggest animals on earth are whales. Specifically, the blue whale is the biggest animal that has ever lived on our planet, and that includes the dinosaurs. But the sperm whale is also huge. It's not as big as the blue whale, but it's certainly massive.

2: Half a Shark
It's pretty rare to find a whole shark washed up on the beach. It's even more rare to find half a shark washed up on the beach! But that's exactly what happened at New Smyrna Beach in Florida back in 2017.

1: Invisible Giants from the Deep
Now, this is a bit of a wild tale, but there is something bizarre going on here. In the United Kingdom, the average man stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall (1.76m). They also have feet that are around 11 inches (28cm).

Proceeds to contradict title by NOT showing the biggest sea creatures ever washed up on the beach.

Why call them monsters? It would be better to call them creatures

A group of penguins attacked my little cousin at the beach once. While they were pecking him to death on the sand, a colossal Megalodon came and beached itself on the shore, and ate the Penguins and my cousin

It's weird that we know more about giant squids from their bodies washing up on shore than we do from encountering them in the wild.

I was on a beach in Maine this past week actually, and found a funky looking fish covered in seaweed. It was maybe 10-12 inches long. Kinda looked like a stonefish or maybe some sort of anglerfish. but I have no idea what it actually was.

I discovered a strange water bird last summer.
Called a Grebe.
Looks like a loon.

Has both sets of feet, connected but Separately, Talons and flippers.
So they can perch and swim. I'm still amazed about that.

Northern Florida, a fisherman had realed in a BABY HAMMERHEAD SHARK, it was ONLY 1 FOOT LONG. He put it in the tide pool and as I watched it swimming around, I asked him if I could pick it up, it was so small, and seemed like if done correctly could be completely safe. I feel like I had the opportunity of a lifetime, picked it up and held it feeling suprisingly sandpaperish, and more than you might expect. I held it for a short time, and then not wanting to keep it out of the water, placed it back. I didn't have a cell phone with me as I had been walking the beach. Same day I saw a large horseshoe crab too. What a day not to have a camera, but I will never forget that I picked up and held a baby HAMMERHEAD, will never forget that! Never even knew they were that small to begin with, but now know what might be lurking the waters in a swimming beach, I was just a little ways down from on the West coast of N. Florida, just south of Jacksonville Beach.
