6 Things We Learnt From BRIGHTON 1-1 CHELSEA. Brighton 1-1 Chelsea highlights saw Hakim Ziyech take the lead for Chelsea with a superb striker before Webster equalised for Brighton. Brighton 1-1 Chelsea see's it become four Premier League games without a win for Tuchel's Chelsea. Chelsea were toothless in attack with Lukaku only touching the ball eight times in the first half with his first shot in the 72nd minute. Brighton 1-1 Chelsea extended highlights once again saw Chelsea fail to create chances with Brighton being the better side. Where next for Chelsea? We usually see the gauntlet drop on the manager. Will Tuchel lose out? Will Chelsea understand the injury situation? I'm not sure. Let me know the 6 Things you learnt from Brighton 1-1 Chelsea in the comments below!

These players are giving me confidence to be a footballer myself and I still haven't even started going to any local team

I've never seen a team throw away so many leads in my life. It's horrifying how many points we have dropped this season from winning positions.

Our season was over the minute we lost Chilwell. I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees the negativity Lukaku brings to the team. having a target man that can't hold the ball, runs away from the ball, and can't link up with the players shouldn't be on the pitch

I loved the energy kova and timo brought into the pitch in the last 10 mins

This Chelsea squad was like a family at the end of the last season we made one change bringing in Lukaku and look at us now. The only game I saw that drive that we had in the CL was vs Liverpool and that was when Lukaku was dropped.

I love George but the fact you always let mount slide with these dreadful performances ain’t fair

Lukaku complaining at Ziyech for not receiving the ball at his feet was stupid. He makes outward runs like he is playing with another striker and leaves the centre where he is supposed to be and complains when it goes wrong

Thanks for putting out your content just as diligently when there is no joy to be had. When Ziyech scored that goal, his reaction and those of his teammates coming to congratulate him was chilling as a Chelsea fan. Is there something rotten lingering within the team that is now starting to fester. I was willing to accept that Lukaku was the catalyst that led to this sudden degradation, but I'm wondering now if he was in fact the harbinger of issues that he walked into at the club. That maybe there are lingering issues on a systemic level.

Lest we forget, that locker room was divided when Lampart ran it and that division was a key part of his eventual undoing. Tuchel came in, recalled the veteran exiles back into the fold, and implemented A system that immediately lead to better results. It was tangible Improvement and it quickly proved successful. So much so that whatever the attitudes of the players were during that piece of tumult that led to Lampard's ousting were quickly softened and it appeared everyone was riding a wave of Hope and belief.

After the FA Cup Final loss and disappointing performances to end the PL season saw us needing a Gareth Bale goal just to finish in the top four, it looked like CFC was in need of some major introspection and certainly a close examination of every player's role in what would have to be classified as a season of missed opportunities. We were all set for a post-campaign autopsy right after we received our humbling in the Champions League final. But instead, we messed around and won the damn thing. Holding the overwhelming favourites to just one shot on goal. Kai Havertz said best in his post final interview when asked about his pricetag and struggles at the club throughout the season. "To be honest, right now I don't give a f--- on that, we won the f---ing Champions League!" All was well for the new manager and his squad of players introduced to the first-team at Chelsea by four different managers.

After the Euros, the new campaign kicked off with a victory, albeit by the skin of our most-expensive-goalie-in-history-turned-back, teeth. One has wonder what would have happened if we had performed to the standard that everyone who wasn't a supporter or employee of CFC predicted. Even with a victory there, what if we were defeated by that narrowest of margins in that UEFA Super Cup? We don't have to answer those questions. But the questions that existed before those victories, did not disappear. They just faded for a while.

I hope the explanation for this drop in form is as simple as player fatigue, as Thomas tuchel suggests. I can also accept if it turns out that it is the fallout from Romelu Lukaku's incredibly damaging interview. All that being said, I cannot help but sense that this may be the result of old divisions and grievances re-emerging now that the euphoria of that night in Porto has begun to fade.

That was the most embarrassed I ever was watching Chelsea, even the goal was just Ziyech shooting because he was pissed off with Lukaku, and instead of celebrating he just argued with Mount, the whole team were a disgrace other than Rudiger, Silva, and Kepa. Azpilicueta is past it, Alonso is absolutely useless, Jorginho was mediocre, Kante was awful by his standards, and the front 4 were all an absolute waste of space. The only blame I’d put on Tuchel is that he didn’t make subs earlier and Werner came on on the wing again considering he hasn’t played up front since he had a great game against Zenit. Lastly, I would let Lukaku go for free at the moment, he doesn’t give a shit and doesn’t try out there whatsoever, all he does is criticise everyone else, he’s a cancer on this club and that’s as blunt as I can be

Since beginning of December we went from a team who could finish top of the leagues without conceding more than 10 goals to a team that draws 1-1 every match. We don’t have only the wingback problem we have attacking problems, linking up problems and creativity problems and it looks like we might have a divided changing room as well seeing ziyech arguing with lukaku. It seemed like lukaku wants the ball to his feet without moving and running for it and he blames ziyech for trying to bring him to play at a moment he’s absent from the game.

I don’t understand why Hall hasn’t had a look in since his MOTM performance against Chesterfield. Yes he’s young, yes he’s inexperienced but Alonso is just being embarrassed week in week out. What I’d give to have Lamptey back in our side right now too

I don't care what anyone thinks or say James and chilwell where the important players who made us look like Title contenders

Mount was nonexistent too!! If you’re calling everyone out, call him out too!! He’s young yes but that doesn’t mean he gets off the hook. I’m sick of everyone trying to bubble wrap in efforts to protect him, been putting in stinkers for a while now.

We started criticism our other forward players immediately we brought LUKAKU in. It's simple, he doesn't fit. Watch our attack recently against Liverpool without Lukaku.

Lukaku needs to be dropped immediately. At first, I was one of the people that said to give him more time. But I just can’t defend him anymore. He does not care. He can’t continue to start for this club. Fair play to Inter for making us believe he was worth 100 million. We’ve seen him play in the premier league before. How in the hell did we genuinely believe it would be any different this time around? I do not care what anyone has to say. Lukaku is not a Chelsea level striker. He’s not a Manchester United level striker. I’ll tell you what he is. He is a West Brom level striker. The only time he’s been good in the premier league is when he was at west brom. So that just shows the level he’s at.

Would rather of picked 11 fans out of the stands at least they would’ve played for the badge

We’ve seen this pattern before. These players can run managers out of the door. We need to back Tuchel & get rid of the deadwood.

Ziyech couldn't do much with lukaku upfront. Some of his passes were for Werner not for lukaku pretty sure Werner would have used those passes much better.

mount was invisible. werner came on and had more energy about him and tried harder than any of them attackers today
