I live in Dallas, TX but my brother use to live in St. Petersburg (just outside of Tampa) but moved to New York a few years ago. I am so thankful he’s not there anymore. But I’ve visited him in St. Petersburg and it is such a beautiful area with a great community. I hope the people down there headed the evacuation orders, but for those who are weathering the storm, we are praying for your safety! Dallas is with you! ❤

I live in Sarasota and this is the first storm I've ever felt the need to go more inland for. Biggest concern being the surge. The ground is so saturated and flooded here already from the past bad weather that the surge will probably have further reaching flooding.
