This is a very nice microphone for the price. I purchased one from Amazon and it sounds great through my PreSonus AudioBox USB interface. This Mic is sold by many different brands but they are all the same microphone made by the same company in China.

OK, you state in this video which was posted in 2014 that you bought that BM-800 2 years ago so that makes it now 2012 and since this is now 2017 I can see a great deal has changed with the design of the BM-800 condenser mic. I just bought mine 2 weeks ago and while it looks similar to yours in appearance, there is NO battery that goes inside the mic, rather the mic has two circuit boards inside the mic and there is an external power source that one plugs the mic into and then plug the mic into your computer. What sucks is, you paid $29 & change back then and all I paid was $19.95 for the same kit plus, I received a boom arm and a "pop" filter (some call it a spit filter) and 2 different microphone holders, the regular mic holder and the shock mount holder.

_Yours works so much better than mine, mine runs off phantom power instead of battery and so I needed to buy one off of Amazon- You Saved my jfc-_
