Isn’t it absolutely amazing that the dogon knew astronomy long before the Greeks, Romans and every other European civilization. I don’t know about everyone else but I find it truly amazing that Africans had an in-depth knowledge of the solar system.

Anyone notice the Dogon’s Kanaga mask is the same symbol found in the Tuareg Berber language and the Amazigh flag...there are ancient Tifinagh inscriptions in Mali

Nice job man. I was a Peace Corps volunteer fortunate enough to serve in a Dogon village. They are truly an amazing people, I was astonished at what they’d done on the Bandiagara falaise, literally building gardens into solid stone…
and their art!…

I feel like, as developing humans, we keep going through the same thing again and again. Like reaching up to a certain understanding of the universe, and then kinda restarting elsewhere and just rediscovering those same facts in different metaphorical stories. Are we trapped to a certain level of understanding before we destroy ourselves or records, just to restart?
