Thanks for the simplified explanation, @Sweetwater.

I'm new, so my perspective is fresh. But, from what I've seen from others, it sounds like most MIDI keyboards have a difficult time integrating with FL Studio because it's far more in the way a proprietary piece of software, rather than having open-source code to support a large variety of devices.

At least, that's what I can gather. If this this true, this will be a nice addition to their FL line, so long as they expand upon it as time goes on, and create larger variants.

Do you always have to tap every upper tabs to change pitch/octaves? Definitely a nice compact mini board! I used large boards years ago, midi to any equipment and computers, back when they were just starting to circulate. This looks so much better as compartmentalized when moving around or in smaller spaces. Great features. ❤️

I’m torn between this and the 37 key. I like the space saving of this BUT what puts me off is the keys, they are a lot more compact say to the SL25 MK II which I have. The 37 key version apart from having more keys has bigger keys which are full sized keys. Have you tried the 37 key version and what’s your experience with using smaller sized keys is it a massive difference ?

Great video! How does the integration work with 3rd party vsts like Omnisphere or Waves plug-ins? Can you still browse presets, knob perimeters auto linked? Or do we have to manually link perimeters like on other controllers. Thanks!

Also, if you have another 88 keyboard to use at the same time, will the scale lock feature apply to the other keyboard as well when activated? Thank you!

Is it possible to play polyphonically in scale mode? As all that i'm
seeing at the moment is scale mode being played on the keys for leads,
bases and other typically single note instruments... Is it possible to
play chords on the keys (not the pre-set chords on the pads) in scale
mode?

Is this keyboard only compatible with fl studio or is it only a recommendation?

I love everything I see. The one thing that concerns me is the pitch sensor. I use pitch bending alot when I play and right now I use an akai mpk mini which uses a joystick. The difference is that with both the wheel and the joystick it allows for you to make these subtle flicks while playing and the tension springs them back into place making these tiny shifts in key while playing. Having to slide your finger back and forth is not as natural and seems like it would be more difficult to get the same effect. Has anyone used a sensor like this and can tell me if it worked for you compared to a wheel?

And just what is different between this and the launchkey MK3? If FL is it, I’ll throw out my mk3 right now. That’s stupid lol

The MK3 should’ve been able to do this out of the box, on multiple DAWS.
