Love the 2 of you together! I was in the WOF under Kenneth Copeland for decades until God rescued me a few years ago. At his church EMIC, we confessed “I am” phrases (mantras) at the beginning of every service. In fact, they were the same mantras Bethel confesses as well. Then…Kenneth’s good friend Charles Capps (passed) had 2 mini books out, “God’s Creative Power For Healing” and “God’s Creative Power For Finances”. These little books were filled with healing and financial Scriptures that we would insert ourself into and confess daily. Then…Charles’ daughter Annette Capps wrote a mini book called “Quantum Faith” that used quantum physics to teach us how to “manifest” what we desired to have. It was about our belief system. I had all 3 of these mini books and they were [unfortunately] a replacement for my Bible. I’ve repented!!! Now I see where WOF is New Thought through and through! God bless you both for this video exposing WOF!!!

Thank you for this brilliant interview; I found myself thinking back to all the times I unwittingly employed these “self-help” “affirmation” techniques. As pointed out—there is a difference between telling yourself—“hey you can do this” and telling yourself—“this mansion is mine”

I actually first saw Melissa on Alisa Childers channel. I have come out of so many non Biblical ideas. I praise our Lord Jesus for these ladies telling us truth. I love New Age to New Heart as well. 😘🙏
