I wish recruiters would ever give a constructive feedback upon rejections. They never do

Working as a programmer in a known company is my dream. I'm only 17 and I'm self-learning to program with Unity and Unreal Engine, I'm trying to create 2D Games, 3D games, normal programs or websites to see what it better fits to me.
It will be a long journey though, I hope that it will go well too.

Thanks for this video, it was very inspirational for me!

3:22 : Great advice, but only if the company in question actually has real people sending rejection emails. I'd say for all AAA and some AA developers, you'll apply through and be rejected through a noreply email, and they also don't have any direct email for the recruiter on their website. I get that with a high volume of applications that it isn't feasible to have it all done manually, but it does make the feedback part of the process much more difficult.

Excellent tips for starting in almost any industry. Start by specializing and building deep skills in that specialty. You need to offer specific skills that are valuable to an employer.

I’m currently 14, and next year I’m going into high school, but I have applied to a stem school where I plan to take game design and animation. I hope I love it! ♥️

How about a video on how Sebastian goes about his job; what does a 'recruiter' do in the gaming industry?

It seems to me to get into the gaming industry you need to be already in the gaming industry

Thank for such a video explaining about this career option. I am currently trying to figure out what can I approach as a career option and listing them and cancelling them out after getting an overlook of the aspects of that career and the fact if I really have interest in it and can do it. So thanks, I really appreciate it.
And most probably I will make my career somewhere in gaming industry, for some obvious and personal reasons.

This helped a lot! Although I’m not looking into being a part of the development team, I hope to help game companies with their branding in the future since I’m currently studying advertising. I just want to support companies I believe in and hope to help in any way possible!

I can’t even imagine how awesome it will be to leave school and have a job making video games

I’m 14 going into high school, what are some classes or fields I should focus on to better my chances

I've always had a knack for customer-facing roles, throw in a long moderately successful stream career and that I've been in moderation and community-focused positions, I've been trying for nearly two years to get my foot in the door in community management. I feel that having a "mundane" CV full of customer-facing jobs like management at a grocery store just doesn't pull the same attention from a recruiter or hiring team, despite the significant amount of skills and experience that cross over.

I just want to have a position where I can provide my ideas and have them taken into consideration; specifically for Rainbow Six Siege. One example off the top of my mind is to make it where when players talk in game chat, there is a voice changer that uses the operator’s voice they are playing as, and, that there is proximity chat between the two teams. I feel like this would give a more realistic and cool sense of this game, but also have a comedic side to it as well.
