He would have won more titles if he played today. Because of his greatest talent. He makes everyone around him winners. His Olympic team has the greatest margin of victory in the history of the Olympics. KC is the only player off that team to make it to the NBA, and he had to come off the bench. He was the leading scorer, rebounder and assist getter on that team. Like he said if I wanted to score who could stop me.😂🤣

One thing that helped Russell was in the 60s no 3 point shot.

*in the 90's, I'd play him at the 4 and let him support the 5 on defense 👌 imagine Bill Russell and Hakeem in the paint together* 😂

assist weren't counted the same and he as a run and dunker had to deal with clogged lanes...imagine what he could do with the space in the lane today...

is it me or does bill Russell shooting form look better than wilts...I think that your free throw percentage doesn't show the the full picture into how good of a shooter a player is...for the most part it give you the idea of what players are capable of...but wilt was consistently hitting 15 foot fade aways, all be it with an "ugly" shooting form...it was said that it went in more than half the time. I think Russell with modern day coaching would be able to develop his long ball... Like his jumper is way different from his free throw form...I think it just wasn't priority back then(even Oscar said"no one really worked on shooting free throws back then"in his Chris Webber interview.) To me bill Russell has the passing iq of Jocik, the build of Gianni's, and the defense of Scottie and mutumbo combined....I think in today's game with the amount of spacing and the offensive leeway players have today
i could see him
putting up...
15.3 PPG
18.2 RPG
7.4 APG(I think he'd rival Jocik...similar to how magic n bird were compared passing wise. Magic was a better player maker and on ball passer ...but birds off ball passing and touch passing made him also a very lethal passer)

4.8 BPG
3.1 SPG
2.1 TOV
4.3 FOULS
Playing 40+MPG
On a more efficient (I think it be more officiant because of spacing and he would be able to create his own shots better because looser handling restrictions)

53fg%
And with coaching I'd think he'd get to
71Ft%
And maybe around 30-34% on low 3pt attempts
I really do think his jumper has the mechanics to build off of
He'd be able to play 1-5
And gaurd 1-5
What do u think
