About Me:
Hey guys! I'm Summer Meyers, homeschool mom to five kiddos, and we talk all things homeschool on this channel. Homeschool community is important to me--talking about homeschool and encouragement to be our best selves for our children is powerful. I love talking home education and really diving into what makes homeschool work. We are an eclectic homeschool, mixing Charlotte Mason, Wildschooling/adventure schooling, and Unit studies. I have kinesthetic learners as well as visual learners who thrive on being outdoors and soaking up God's green earth. I love hearing from other families who are choosing to school at home, so please introduce yourself in the comments! Being at home is hard, and taking on the education of our kids is even harder. Know that you are not alone in this journey and that you can do it!

I will have to watch this one again because Baby was a distraction. The best kind of distraction. Great tips!

He is adorable!!!! I concur to the stacked baby bin that gets ignored. This is what happened when my kids were babies. 🌻

He looks just like you mama! I have a 2 and 1/2 year old and only have 1 other child. Once he started walking and those naps stopped, is when it got super hard for me to teach my 1st grader. Juggling teaching one child and having a baby/toddler is by far the hardest part of this journey so far! I try and take it a day at a time.

The baby box/bin...oh, yes! Haha. My boys (not babies so much anymore, sadly) have been fascinated by empty boxes for the last week or two. They fit all kinds of things inside and also use them as hats. So fun!

This is such a great video!
I'm currently pregnant with our fifth child!
We also have a 19 month old baby, a 4, 6, and 10 yr old.
And I was feeling such a failure because we couldn't finish a lesson everyday.
And your video gave me a new perspective of what homeschooling is all about!
Thanks Summer!
Love from Naples FL 💜

I'm so impressed! I might be done with babies, which has some sad parts, but also means I can hardly imagine how you do it all! Go mamma!

He is so Mine just turned 22 months...and yes homeschooling with a baby is a whole other ballpark!!! Easy Peasy Math has been such a blessing for us because the kids can do it mostly by themselves. But, a lot of subjects have been become very relaxed lately 🤣
My type A inner self has been slowly... very slowly dying since I had my youngest....
Almost two years ago....😱

What do you do when the baby starts moving? My youngest started eating solids on his own around 4 months, walking at 8 months and is all over the place now by 11 months.

I have been wondering how you're able to do everything you do with a baby.
