Hi thanks for the lock icon tip. I bought a new keyboard and was checking whether all keys are working on not. Accidentally I triggered the lock. Then when I tried checking the windows key it wasn't working unless I clicked on some other key first. There was no lock icon on my new keyboard but there was a lock icon on my ESC key on my laptop keyboard. I pressed Fn+Esc and that unlocked the windows key and it started working again. 💯

for asus tuf laptops its win+fn key, yes the win key itself is the lock key, i had this win key locked for around a month and didnt knew i thought its not working because of the win 11

For those who cannot find a FN key: It can also be a slider. That was the case for me and i spend quite a while searching for the FN key despite being pretty sure that i have never seen it on my keyboard. So that weird slider that i have always ignored for several years, never moved it by accident before and honestly had no idea what it even did was the source of the problem.
