If you’re in the middle of your running injury rehab, and your pain is getting worse, here are some things you can keep in mind that could influence your pain:
• Using a too heavy weight or high resistance band
• Doing too many repetitions or sets of an exercise
• Holding stretches for too long or stretching too hard
• A sudden increase in volume of an activity e.g. steps per day
• A sudden increase in exercise intensity
