The best way to wash pans is to just fill them up with water and let the water sit for 10-20 mins and then use a strong dish soap to rinse them. And if you want the oil to be completely removed then burn some wood and collect the ashes then spread them all over the pan and then wash. Works like magic everytime I swear.

from India, and my mother uses" baasi khatta dahi" left on the pan overnight. And also once I tried to make a small batch of pizza sauce like i made tomato puree at home and after all the cooking stuff the pan got more Clear and shiny. That day I got to know that tomato acid works.

It's all fun and games until you forget to clean the pan just right after you used the paste

Use vinegar + salt. Breaks any old stains you have on the pan.

Barkeepers friend in the us and the pink stuff in the UK, ideally the patina in the pan is something you can get rid of with tomato purée but just use distilled white vinegar with some water

Backing soda.
Water and vinegar.
ordinary washing-up liquid
Water and bicarbonate.
I my shelf use backing soda or bicarbonate and vinegar.
I start with some Warm water and dishes sopp to get the mots off and then I take backing soda or bicarbonate and some vinegar and mixed it together then I put is on the spots that are more difficult to get rid of and then I wait for 5-10 minutes and start to skrubb and then rinse under some water.

the simplest way is straight after plating your food add a bit water to the pan and put it back on the heat boiling it, then it should be pretty easy to use that boiling water to scrape away whatevers on your pan, its pretty much the same technique as when chefs use a liquid like wine or stock to release the fond in the pan to make a pan sauce

Best trick I found for stainless steel is to pour a bunch of baking soda in the pan, add water and cook it. As the water boils use a wooden spatula to scrape the grime off....saves a lot of time soaking

Lmao bro I think you confused cleaning the residu off the bottom of your pan while cooking a dish, with actually cleaning your pan 😂😂

Just chuck it on heat, deglaze with any left over cooking wine or vinegar, and then finish off by running it straight under a hop tap. Always does the trick.

You can try half a lemon and sprinkle on kosher salt or baking soda on the pan and just scrub with the lemon or you can also fill the pan with hot or boiling water and dawn dish soap and white vinegar and let it sit in the pan for 15 to 30 minutes and then scrub it out.
