Lectric XP vs Amp Rides Volt 750 - 28 Mile Ride Battery Comparison

In this video, I'll take you guys on a 28-mile ride through the Flatwood Parks Trails in Tampa. I wanted to see how well the batteries on my two ebikes would perform. So in this video, I'll do a non-scientific comparison of how the batteries performed. The bikes we used were the Lectric XP (black) which has an LG 10.4 ah 48V battery, and the Amp Rides Volt 750 Step-Thru (white) which has a Samsung 14.5ah 48V battery.

This turned out to be a really fun ride and the trails at Flatwood were pretty awesome. I tried to also show you what the trails were like and update you guys on the batteries as we went through the trail.

That’s the error code I got when I rode to see how far I could ride on one battery charge. I got 43.8. All PAS 2. 5th GEAR. NO THROTTLE.

Easiest upgrade for an XP is a Larger Battery - Nov 10th - Alibaba Singles Day (China 11/11) - Search 48 Volt Folding Bike Battery. You should find a 48V, 13.2 AH battery for the XP at a good price. Just have to wait a while for shipping. FYI no name batteries @ 3300 mAH vs Samsung 2500 mAH for XP.

Nice video man, I enjoyed it. I just bought an XP step thru. I wanted something other than an electric scooter to commute on, as well as something my wife will be more likely to ride so we can ride together. I looked up the Amp bikes while watching your video and saw its nearly double the price. Glad I went with the XP as the AMP doesn't seem twice as much bike.

Hi Marlon what is your opinion of the amprides 750 bike? Have you had any problems with it? Is there another e bike in the range of $1300 that you would recommend? Since amprides is a new startup company not sure if they will be around after buying it. I also saw a blizzard folding e bike and they have been around for a while, what are your thoughts? Aren't the batteries different voltages? If so they initial voltages on the Amprides should have been 58 ish to start
