Not only does pedaling give you a higher top speed on this bike, it prolongs the engine and battery life by 1000 percent and gives you a necessary daily exercise for cardiovascular disease prevention when you get older. Good job dude.

Good bike for the price. In a hilly city like SF, I tested it and you get about 25 miles, not bad, but also a bit of nail biter, if you don’t plan out your ride. Bring a spare battery. Good video!

Just picked one of these up for my son...I haven't handed the keys over yet. So fun to ride around on. Impressed with the quality for the price I paid for this bike. Not sure when I'm going to be ready to hand the keys over. 😁

What are your thoughts about them coming out with a newer model to supersede this one anytime soon. And also do you think they will use a belt drive instead of a chain drive for the next 3.0 or predecessor to it

I have one I bought in 2019. I have over 6600miles on it I has preformed with out any problems. I did have to replace the battery at around 6000 miles. I bought the extended life battery and can now ride using level 2 and sometimes level 3 go for more than 50 miles on a charge. My tire tread has gone to almost bald on the back and starting to show some pink on the front. They are 20x4 in. on the early bikes and no front suspension. I run 12 to 18 psi in the tires for better ride. Very pleased with the bike and Lectric company. Will up grade to the XP 3.0 after this one stops working if it stops working. Would like to make it to 10000 miles first.

Just bought one and must say I’m impressed. Really enjoyed your report. It’s a taillight though, not a brake light.

I think all of the Lectric XP's come stock filled with green slime for the tires.

I have a stock Super 73RX and recently bought the XP Lite because I wanted something to exercise and pedal ( I dont turn on the bike to exercise and throttle home when I'm beat), but I should have gotten this bike instead. I love the top speed you can get and still exercise. You should put David Brand New's Turtle stem adapter and change the handle to a bmx one.

I wouldn't want this as my primary bike but for quick trips or take along on road trips it would be great.

Nice review. Thought for Lectric... put the key somewhere were it doesn't collect dirt. Come up with a frame lock similar to how some bikes in Amsterdam have.

I think your review on the lectric 3.0 ebike was the most honest and thorough review I've seen. I've been looking at this bike for months now, trying to decide. I'm 70 yrs old, chubby grandma and I feel I need the pedal assist to get up some of the hills in my town. I'm planning on driving my truck less and use an ebike to get around town. Thank you for the great review. Now I'm worried about the tires being weak.

These seem like solid bikes. I was actually looking to buy one as my first e-bike, but found out they don't sell them here in the UK, so ended up going with an Engwe EP-2 Pro instead, which I kinda regret now due to some quality issues with the EP-2 Pro. I probably should've just waited to see what other e-bikes came on the market, but I live on a big hill and I was desperate to find an easier way to get up it than walking or having to get off and push regular bikes up it. Only thing I will say about the EP-2 Pro is that I like the look of the bike. I've swapped the giraffe neck stem out for some chrome BMX race bars, removed the rack, put some Vee Speedster style tires on it, swapped the pedals for some cooler looking metal ones and added a vintage style sprung leather saddle. Thing looks pretty sick. Just a shame about the aforementioned quality issues that plague these bikes. I've actually got a new headset to replace the crappy one the bike comes with. I just haven't been bothered to change it yet.

So a 5 mile round trip on just throttle shouldn’t be a problem ? Thinking about getting one for work

If the rear light doesn’t get brighter when you pull the brake levers or you slow down, it’s not a brake light, it’s just a taillight.

making a left turn from stop sign, take the lane ahead of time so you don't have to look. Rear light is in best spot to not get obstructed, but also to not break in a fall/tip over.

Sorry if I missed this but how many miles was that round trip? Nice video

I have to travel about 10 miles to work or home from work I throttle at 20mph the whole way and the battery is still basically full, if you get a wide comfort seat it's so nice, i love mine ♥️
Any suggestions for a speaker setup? I was debating tossing on some motorcycle speakers but the wiring doesn't look like it would be compatible lol (I like to listen to music but I want to be able to hear vehicles or other pedestrians)
