Check the string and cables for any signs of fraying; replace them before further use if you see any frays. To extend the life of your string and cables, apply lube wax to these areas every 5 to 10 shots or if you see any “white fuzz” begin to appear.

Borrowed my pops deer season 2 Barnett crossbow for this season with NO experience with them whatsoever. Took it to our creek bottom property passed some 3 year - bucks up and had a lonesome doe come 30 yards away broad side, aimed a little low (since the top fret on the scope was sighted at 40 yds ) and whack, shwacker went straight thru the deer and it ran less than 20 yards with nothing but a double lung shot which is a VERY broad target zone. So impressed I bought a Barnett stalker 380 2 days later and will probably take it over my 3030 after rut is over in Georgia. GREAT weapon

TS390 is my first ever crossbow and I bought it on looks alone only to discover later how excellent it is and after a lot of care and many shots, this is the weapon that finally has me interested in hunting. So I did things a bit backwards but in the end I got lucky because this is a great crossbow to have. God guns and bows lol.
