There are definitely some strong people out there without social media

Most gymbros wouldn't do this though. You might be strong as hell on the big 3 lifts, but you'll probably look like someone with "Do you even lift?" status. I'm also concerned with the lack of back training, most guys tend to recommend that back should be as strong as chest, so your bent over row is the same as your bench for example.

Squat, deadlift, bench, rows, pull-ups and overhead presses.

This one is my favorite, juxtaposition 😂

so long as you’re doing various compound lifts to supplement just sbd, (so dips, pull-ups, rows), you’d be more than fine

I love this. I’m the same way, only doing compound lifts (bench, squat, deadlift) I weigh 155 Ibs and bench 335. Squat 405 and deadlift 540. Workouts are around 45 minutes. I have an athletic background with very good leverages. I try and preach “time under the bar”to people but they don’t want to commit to the workout and diet because they don’t understand how you can get gains from doing this. I eat a lot of calories because I lift heavy and do ALOT of sets with 3-5 reps. I’m sorry I have to say this but your not really going to get strong doing the basic 3 sets of 10. It’s just not enough volume

can you make a video on what yo expect in terms of life style changes and frequency of injuries and progress for beginners who are getting started and are more interested in powerlifting.
i personally just started lifting weights seriously for about 6 months and i think its time for me to make a decision so i can optimise my training program and i am more interested by powerlifting but i just cant shake off the fear of it being more hard and time consuming and risky than other disciplines and id love if someone with solid knowledge can properly address this

I usually use exercises to work on my weaknesses. Unless it’s a muscular imbalance then I would use accessories and get progress pretty fast. Mainly tryna increase the volume in training for the SBD whilst maintaining the highest I can recover so that the progresss keeps going mad fast.

I use accessories to cover my weaknesses n prevent injuries. My goal is to workout 5 - 7 days a week n in order to be consistent n maintain frequency I prioritize health over fitness n strength. I am a natty n Deadlift n squat without chasing PRs. I stay with my goals n follow through my plans.

I feel like I need accessories to address imbalances from old injuries, sleeping position, daily life, etc. I wish I could just do core lifts, that guy is living the life.

I had 3 friends who competed in powerlifting professionally. They only sbd. And worked out twice a week. Monday Bench day. And Wednesday squat deadlift day. On fridays they'd do streching.

Would you do a video critiquing and improving subs form on squat bench deadlift? Could be very informative for your subs and also would be individualized towards people that can submit short videos on lifts

Yo Justown, I hear a lot of people talking about switching their splits. I’ve only done push/pull/legs for the 3 years I’ve been working out. Is their ever a point we’re I should switch up my split?
Love the vids
