Forget the M2 MacBook Air. Buy this Windows laptop instead!

Hi everyone, this is my full review of the Asus Vivobook Pro 14 OLED . I have been using it for a couple of days and I can confidently say that if you are looking for an excellent alternative to the M2 Macbook Air, this is the option you can go for. After 10+ years of windows, I bought a Macbook this year. This is my unbiased feedback for people on both camps: If you want to play games, run from apple. If you want compatibility, run from apple. For normal office use (Microsoft 360, Google sheets, etc) and media editing, I think there it is the best there is. The build quality from the way it feels, the way it opens and closes, everything is just another level.

If you're a programmer that works a lot with softwares that is made for Unix/Unix like system, choosing macbook is a no brainer. I have dealt with several issues running softwares that I need in windows but works perfectly fine in Linux and MacOS

my friend has one with 1080p OLED he gets like 10-15 hr actual battery life with 4-6Wh drain

My take on the huge power brick is that the wattage it is capable of supplying needs space for the heat to dissipate. Windows laptops with dedicated GPUs have anywhere around 200 to 300 W power suppliers, and that gets plenty hot. For non-gaming portability needs, using a Type-C 65W or higher PD charger is a great accessory. Moto phones like Edge 30 Fusion and Ultra ship with PD chargers in the box, which can be used to charge any Type-C PD supported laptop including Macbooks :)

I purchased an ASUS F571G laptop last year and I've been experiencing a lag in the trackpad quite often. I have updated the driver and Windows software, but nothing has worked so far. I think this is an issue on all ASUS Vivobook laptops and hope ASUS takes this seriously and resolves it soon.
