Wouldn't the exposed steel on the outer leaf cause thermal bridging?

Should bed your dpc tray down to the steel stop it sliding about like , and leave steel back a bit from the face and then the doors can be fitted with a small trim to hide the plate, apart from that not bad fellas

Hi, does the beam sit directly on the padstone, or is there a course of mortar between the beam and the padstone?
