36:06 It's not a missed opportunity at all. Shooting any of those speakers while Salazar is talking through them will cut him off and end the dialogue prematurely. In fact, he laughs when you do so.

RE4 used to be my favorite game of all time, but now its this. Its literally better than the original. They kept everything that mattered, while also innovating and improving everything else. You can tell its a labor of love.

Just realized that having an actual Luis AI that shoots and moves quickly enough + "Incapacitated" state for Ashley + some of the puzzles requiring Ashley and Leon pulling a lever at the same time are the main requirements for RE5 Remake gameplay, they were testing the waters and they did it pretty well honestly.

The castle in remake was so fun because everytime time I thought a room or section was cut I was surprised that they just remixed or moved it in a way that made it fresh

That double garrador room is perfection, it was terrifying and tense as shit. Can’t wait to see all the runs that room kills on professional and speed runs lmaooo

I also love how the enemies walk in that room to try not to alert the garradors, and only run if there is other noises around, crazy detail

Gotta love how Bawk never heard any of Salazar's speaker dialogue because he kept shooting them before he could say anything, so he went through this thinking that Salazar just randomly broadcasted himself chuckling for no reason.

I just recently found you on Twitch. I just wanna say its fucking awesome finding a content creator that actually appreciates the cool ass games we get to play these days. You are enjoying youself and not talking shit about "game design" every time something goes wrong. I literally heard you praise the game while you were getting fucked over multiple times. You're the best at what u do because you love it.
Its just silly to me seeing other RE runners complain about this master piece, as if the devs created it for speedrunners solely to break records lol. I wont name names but another big name in RE running the other day got pissed and exclaimed that "puzzles are cringe" and shouldnt be in RE games anymore lol. Maybe im just getting old.

also i literally spit my water out at work watching a clip of you running back and forth on the village roof during the opening mob kicking down the ladders and one of the enemies yelled something and your response was " No you lick my asshole lady!" and now every fucking time i can't unhear it while i play. so thanks for that.
