Guru is a P.O.S. that nobody should trust. I, for one, love the fact that this was done live. Seeing his body language change as soon as they said they would open it there and now was a hard tell. I believe the people selling the scams are hoping that people will pay premium value to sit on and never open the box meaning they don't get caught. Having Leonhart and Scott there was fantastic. 2 of the most trustworthy high rollers out there with hands on experience. They showed what professionalism really looks like. Leonhart even said he had some suspicions while evaluating it early on.

Guys... Checking if a box has been resealed is super easy and you do not even have to open it... The most important place to always check is the seams, because that is the place they will cut through and reseal. If any of them look yellowish/greyish it is a pretty heavy sign it has been tempered. Another method is just weighting the box. If it has a disparity compared to other known real ones of more than 1 to 3 % I would be suspicious of it.
Last but not least the plastic itself... Normally 20/30 years old plastic looks & feels a certain way compared to new boxes fully sealed with brand new plastic. On top of that, you can also use a gemmologist tool to assess how light travels through the plastic and access if it is original from the factory or if it was resealed.

Hope I have helped everyone with a couple tips and you definitely do not need to open the box. It would be great if big YouTubers would help the community and do this sort of videos to help people authenticate their sealed boxes. By the way, I am mostly a heavy collector of Magic the Gathering which is also from Wizards of the Coast.
