Based on video, dropper would have made a big improvement on downhill and increased time differential.

Would be interesting to see this same challenge course used to compare the XC bike against the same bike with a dropper post, and then the down country version of the lux as well.

See how much the weight saving and peddling efficiency really affect the total time

I would say that the canyon strive or the yeti sb150 with the travel changes would be the fastest bikes overall

Try the enduro bike with some XC tire's. Bet that saves a lot of time. Also the XC bike would be faster downhill with a dropper.
