V2 got the goofy run lol

Duel (AKA Versus Reprise)
This literally took two months (ignoring the 2-3 week break in between due to exams).
Hope it was worth the wait.

Anyway, amazing job on this! Honestly makes it more enjoyable that this (to me) feels like a street fight with them punching the crap out of each other.

This feels like what the fight actually would have been behind the game. V1 consistently having the upper hand despite all of V2's efforts really shows V1's experience, and the sheer amount of emotions expressed by the small movements perfectly conveys their sentient nature.

Very nice in general. Despite this animation not exactly capturing the true intensity and fast-pace action the original had, it's still a very solid animation with some good moments here and there. Good job dude

The camera work feels exceptionally professional, and good choreography too, the scenes are set perfectly. Only the combat feels a bit slow, but with the stop screens it fells like reading a comic, so it’s not a downside but a unique and cool thing

I like how it switches from comedic and serious so flawlessly, like on the pyramid, one second v1 and v2 are having one of the most badass fights ever, the next, a far out shot where you can’t even tell if anything’s happening

it was really worth the wait. this is literally how I imagined fighting V2. everything about this is so amazing, the counter ricoshot at the intro was top notch. im glad you actually finished this. awesome work!

The animation in general is really good and pretty fluid. The close-up shots are amazing. But in my opinion the pacing of the fight is questionable. One second they're doing cool tricks and shooting or melee-ing each other, and the next they're just awkwardly standing around. Some of the camera shots like the one with the increasing FOV inside the throne room looked a bit cheap. But the ending one was fantastic.

Hope to see more of this.

This is probably one of the greatest Ultrakill animations I've seen so far. Sure, the animation was a bit slower than how the gameplay might seem, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the fight choreography was damn near perfect. It was awesome how you were able to capture so much emotion in the V models considering they're literally just objects. Amazing.

This is crazy good, but it just feels off when these two are mostly stationary. Of course capturing the high-pace feel of the original fight isnt easy, so this still hit the spot. Good job!

This video is great, but I think it needs more fast battle moments, where we can truly see, that V1 is strong and V2 is strong as well
