It is only poor compared to Europe…otherwise chisinău is one of the most well planned cities…it’s clean, well maintained…india has not a single city which will match cleaniness and design of Moldova…when bald and bankrupt complained about few old footpaths and buildings….they reconstructed it within a year in complete modern design….

I'm a new subscriber; it's not true that criminal activity is common in poor countries; I visited Sudan before its current civil war; Sudan is very poor country but had very little crime. l'm from Chisinau, born and raised and l would say that we still have some neglected areas in the city. Lots of indians study medicine, l met some of those, but they are from the southern part of India which seak Tamil or Malayalam.
