About this video: If you want to know how to port forward for your Minecraft server, this video will show you exactly how to do it! This is our complete guide to port forwarding on any router. We specifically show you how to port forward on a #Linksys router, how to port forward on a #Netgear router, how to port forward on a TP-Link router, how to port forward on a Verizon router, how to port forward on an AT&T router, and also how to port forward on a Cisco router. Yep, we show you a step-by-step guide on each of those routers all in this video!

Most of these comments are old, but I've seen the same issue for many ATT users: the IPv4 isn't listed under the "needed by device" dropdown menu. If you don't know the name of your computer, you can go to your search bar or file explorer, search for and select "This PC, " then right-click and select the properties option, and you should be able to find your computer name. This is what I did, so hopefully, it helps someone else.

"ANY router" he said. a lot of people want to see spectrum, and i want to see ZXHN. i can't port-forward without WAN host IP range, and i don't know what to do with it.

so on the at&t part of the port forward vid u linked u say u can put in whatever ports youre looking to forward but he puts in 2012 and on here u say 25565 and on my side that shows up as global port range but theres also sum called base host port

so for global port range i put in 25565 - 25565
and for

base host port on the video is empty so im leaving that empty

on the vid and on my side it shows eg. 2000, 2000-2002 and thats where he puts in 2012 2012 on both bars so is it 2012 or 25565

Hi! I have a Netgear router and I've tried what you showed in the video, but for some reason my friend still can't join. I would really appreciate if you took the time to answer my comment, thanks!

I have at&t and I get everything set up, but when I need to do the "Needed by Device" my IPv4 does not show up. What should I do?

I mentioned this on the video I was watching but I think this video is more appropriate to mention it. I would like to point out that Xfinity recently changed how to port forward and you must do it through Xfi account only which personally I think is rediculous but if possible a tutorial for port forwarding on this would be helpful. otherwise I appreciate your tutorials thank you.

2:15 I have the "Ethernet Adapter Ethernet" tab but not the "Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection" tab and I cannot port forward. Could this be the root cause?

Is it possible you can make one for spectrum? I can't find anything and when i do, it's really outdated TT even the 2020 made guides are different from the current version :(

For the People who have Spectrum

Click on the Network tab at the left of the screen.

Find the Wan link located near the left of the screen and click it.

Find the Port Forward tab located near the top of the screen and click on it.

You are now on the Port Forwarding page.
