Having used Copilot, it’s not a replacement for programmers but another abstraction layer. Truth be told, quite a few of the suggested solutions didn’t work, but it beats copy and pasting stack overflow and replacing parameters yourself…

- be unemployed
- watch stakeholder ask future copilot for 'revolutionary new app'
- copilot is advanced enough to remove all the hot garbage and produces a CRUD app in the requested color, stakeholder happy

Instead of 200 thousand lines of code, people write 200 thousand lines of description what the AI should do and the AI does it only kind of right but the program sucks. This is the future.

The problem with this is that when everyone gets too comfy with using AI, people will start forgetting how to code. And then when AI doesn't generate the correct code or it is syntactically wrong, nobody will be able to fix it
