This song made me weep when I first heard you sing it on television, thoughts of losing my father to cancer when I was 16 years old, sitting by his side after school, doing my home work at the hospital, we shared a lot of stories during his last month in the hospital. The last words we shared was “I love you”… lm 42 years old now and I still grieve for him, songs like this that touch our hearts helps put the wolves at bay. My dads birthday was a couple days ago and I was feeling down today thinking of him, then I played your song “ monsters”, crying is a great remedy, so don’t ever be afraid to cry. Keep up the good work, your father is proud of you young man…

Im 63 but my father died when i was 6 yrs old, seeing Iam singing this song i feel missing and still grieving.pain in my heart growing up w/o my father touching.i really miss my father.
