If you think about it, mettaton actually doesn't wanna kill you, he just wants to go on the surface and become a star (which he does in the true pacifist) when you kill him in neutral he says "well at least I got to perform for a human.. thats all I REALLY wanted.." he honestly just wants to be admired and popular, but in order to do so he has to kill frisk.

It's so crazy to see other people's interpretations of the Mettaton EX Fight. It's neat you found the time and energy to fully animate your animatic, where I'll never animate mine. I also really liked how you focused a lot of the bombs and the disco ball lazers, that's a cool take I haven't seen much of! Great job!
