💥 THERAPY REMINDER:

Trauma is NOT cognitive, and EMDR is not solely a cognitive therapy.

EMDR is a mind-body approach to healing from stressful life experiences, so being able to connect with the body is crucial in order to heal.

As the saying goes, you have to feel it to heal it, so connecting with the body is so important for successful outcomes in EMDR Therapy.
