Tutorial - MODX Revolution - Uploading files and placing images with text edito

Показать описание
In this first tutorial I explain how to login to your MODX Revolution Manager, upload files to your site, and how to place and align images with the Rich Text Editor (WYSIWYG).
A Couple of Notes: I left out an instruction for when you are using the "Not Set" property for image alignment (explained in the video). In this case with the image pushing the text above and below the image you will most likely want to also center the image in the page horizontally. To do this simply click on the image in your editor to highlight it, then click on the "Align Center" button found in the lower row middle of the buttons in your editor. This will center your image within the section left to right. Do Not use the "Middle" alignment property found in the alignment section of the insert/edit pop up window.
The other note is that I need to correct myself with the Image Description box required in the pop up window. There is also a second purpose to this which is Search Engine Optimization that I was not thinking of when I made the video. Putting in a thorough image description with key words about your website, something about the image, and the corresponding page the image is on will indeed help your page rank in search results you specify in the description property.
