MODx Revolution Basics - Understanding MODx Revolution Templates

In this screencast we will learn what exactly a MODx Revolution Template is, its different parts, the MODx Tag Syntax, and the commonly used tags. Using the Base Template as a starting point we make some system setting changes, some template changes, and some changes to our resource and then see these changes reflected on the front end.

@seberusnet Absolutely. MODX places basically no limits on how you build your templates. You can definitely link to an external stylesheet, just make sure the paths are correct when you port it to MODX. You will see what I mean in the next video in this series where I'll start porting over an actual HTML template to MODX Revo :)
