Charlie Munger is vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway and the closest partner of Warren Buffett. He is one of the best investors ever existed with his profound wisdom in investing, business and life. Prior joining Warren Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway, Charlie Munger ran an investment partnership that returned an average of 20% per year from 1962 to 1975. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 averaged an annual return of just 5% in that time.

The power of grace from a good and loving teacher can transform a life. Also, a lot of people are dealing with trauma and neurodivergence. Mercilessly saying “to hell with them” isn’t exactly the highest form of leadership from a service standpoint. I love and admire Mr. Munger and am striving to take a lot of his lessons to heart, but just because he was brilliant and incredibly successful doesn’t mean he’s always right about everything. Also, RIP and thank you so much for everything.

What a brilliant, brilliant man. Even an idiot such as myself can recognize that. However, I don't fully agree with, "Dumb is forever" as a universal law. I've seen major transformations in terms of critical thinking skills in some people, albeit very infrequently. It usually takes a major event and/or a lengthy period of hard work with incremental changes but it does happen. People DO get smarter and make better and better decisions provided they have very serious motivation to do so. Very exceptional teachers or professors can sometimes motivate such transformations, also but the student must "be ready".
