Great video, thanks! There are actually several video formats under MKV format that supports transparency. VP9 WebM seems to be very good when it's set to lossless and the file size seems to be very small!

While setting the Video Codec to "QT rle / QT Animation" did work, I was experiencing a lot of instability with the video, especially when trying to view or use the animation elsewhere. If you're experiencing a similar problem, I found that changing the Video Codec to "PNG" works much better! If it still having issues, try recreasing the resolution percentage (%) of the render output.

He said there is no RGBA under FFMPEG but in the current version already is! 00:29
Just choose RGBA and as Video Codec choose "QuickTime Animation" or "PNG" instad "QT rle / QT Animation".
