bro I did this and found the plugin i needed and STILL had to hit rescan all the failed plugins or whatever it says. THEN after 2 hours got my strymon big sky plugin to show up. Any who, thanks for this. You have relieved my suffering XD XD

Helpful video thank you(subb'd). My fix for one stinking vst(Waves Kramer Tape)🤦‍♂not showing in Reaper 6, was to use the rescan option 'clear cache and rescan' as I already had a crazy length path built up over a couple of years. Also, you can manually edit-paste/add those paths with ; as separator.

Would be great if there was a 'path box' field you can paste into on the 'add path' dialog box that will search for the path, like some other programs I have used do, in a similar 'add path' dialog box.

I had Perfect Drums installed before. I had to reinstall windows 10. Now I'm installing everything again. None of my VST3 plugins are showing up. I LITERALLY added the path ALL THE WAY UP TO THE ACTUAL FOLDER for the Perfect Drums, clicked the "clear cache & rescan" button, and it's still not showing up. I don't know what else to do. I'm telling it EXACTLY where the .dll file is, and it still can't find it.

What about 32 bit windows/reaper? I can't get any ir loaders, pulse, etc

I got easier solution. I stopped using Reaper.
